I spent the years my children were growing up with my dressmaking, perfecting my skills over the years.

It was after this I discovered my love of art and studied to learn the technical skills I needed to make my art the way I saw it in my mind.

Art has now become not only my passion, but my inner peace and fulfilment. 

To lose myself in the beauty and colours of my paintings relaxes and unwinds me from the stresses of work and life. Here I can create beauty and peace, watching them fall from my paint brush. 

The perfection and colours of nature, the depth and insight within someone’s eye, the fact that a species of plant will create exactly the same flower right down to the placement of colour, the shape and curl of the petals regardless of whether it is grown in my garden or yours.
